Air Suspension System

We integrate air suspension systems that meet international standards into your camp vehicles. Our suspension systems provide greater comfort, better driving characteristics, and increased safety.

Full Air Suspension – VB-FullAir

VB-FullAir is an automatic and adjustable solution offered for suspension-related issues. The existing leaf or coil spring suspension is replaced with a full air suspension system. This system includes air bellows, shock absorbers, height sensors, a compressor, and an electronic control unit (VB-ASCU). The air suspension system filters out road surface irregularities, enhancing driving comfort.

Semi Air Suspension – VB-SemiAir

VB-SemiAir allows the suspension to be adjusted (manually) within certain limits.

In a vehicle with leaf springs, an air bellow is installed between the chassis and the rear axle. This bellow supports the existing leaf spring.

VB-SemiAir is offered as a dual-chamber system, meaning the bellows are not interconnected. Using a dual-chamber system allows for separate adjustment of the left and right sides, helping to level the vehicle even when unevenly loaded.

VB-CoilSpring (Reinforced/Auxiliary Spring)

In vehicles already equipped with coil spring suspension, this system is used as an auxiliary or replacement spring. Auxiliary springs can also be mounted on vehicles with leaf spring suspension. These reinforced springs increase suspension travel, help the vehicle return to its original ride height, and enhance overall stability and, to some extent, comfort levels.

Replacement spring: As the name suggests, the original coil spring can be removed and replaced with a reinforced spring.

Auxiliary spring: When an auxiliary spring is installed, the original leaf or coil spring remains in place. The auxiliary spring is mounted alongside the original and strengthens the existing suspension system.

VB-SpecialParts (Special Components)

Anti-roll bars: The function of an anti-roll bar is to reproduce, to a lesser extent, the vertical movement of one wheel on the opposite wheel on the same axle.

This reduces body roll when cornering as well as sensitivity to crosswinds. For vehicles with a high center of gravity, the installation of a (reinforced) anti-roll bar is recommended.

Shock absorbers: Installing reinforced shock absorbers helps to better absorb vehicle movements based on road surface conditions. The vehicle returns to the correct ride height after each movement.

It’s often believed that vehicles with softer suspension offer more comfort, but they tend to have poor road contact. Installing reinforced shock absorbers improves stability and is therefore beneficial for the vehicle.
